We offer the following cosmetic dentistry services:
With veneer dentistry, we apply a durable, thin layer of restorative material over the visible portion of your tooth, creating beautifully shaped smiles. Veneers are normally used to cover up chipped, worn, crooked, stained or discolored teeth or to correct worn enamel. Based on your ultimate goals, Dr. Ammons will recommend the specific type of veneer for proper appearance and endurance.
We offer porcelain – such as Lumineers – and ultra-thin porcelain veneers to our dental patients. Minimizing your time, pain and discomfort, our methods are ideal for patients with sensitive or badly damaged teeth. We simplify the process by shortening prep time and applying ultra-thin porcelains designed to leave your original enamel intact. For more information on this procedure, contact Dr. Ammons and set up an appointment.
Whiten your teeth with our in-office treatment, Zoom! 2. We stay up-to-date with the latest teeth whitening procedures and believe in the results for this treatment. In as little as one hour, you’ll receive lightened teeth that are 6 to 10 shades lighter. Minimize sensitivity and enjoy immediate results!
After your procedure, take home our complimentary touch-up kits and customized trays that will help you maintain your new, white smile.
Would you rather whiten your teeth in the privacy of your own home? We also offer whitening kits that you can self-apply. Ask Dr. Ammons about this option at your next visit.
In some cases we may recommend braces or other more involved orthodontic procedures. In these instances, we will refer you to the right hands from our list of specialized partners. In our office, however, we do offer minor tooth movement with different orthodontic retainers.
Crooked teeth don’t always need to be fixed with braces or aligners, though. We also offer porcelain veneers and dental crowns that help to shape teeth and give you a cosmetically and beautifully aligned smile. Consult with Dr. Ammons about your dental goals and wishes and she’ll recommend the right solution for you.
To improve your smile, Dr. Ammons may recommend a dental treatment called bonding. This is a procedure closes the gap between teeth with the application of a tooth-colored resin material, which hardens with a special light. Ultimately, the material bonds to the tooth. This procedure can usually be done in only one visit. The results include longer-looking teeth, color improvement for a whiter, healthier looking smile, and closed gaps between teeth.
Bonding is a less expensive alternative to veneers. If you are interested in learning more about this option, contact Dr. Ammons.
Protect your teeth during your first exam with Dr. Ammons. We’ll take ample time to examine not only your teeth but also your important gum lines to ensure they are healthy. Dr. Ammons will take every measure to help you avoid gum disease, which can ultimately cause tooth decay and plaque or more severely tooth loss.
Dr. Ammons practices preventative care to avoid gum disease within her patients. Mild cases of gingivitis (gum disease) are treatable and can be reversed. However, with extreme periodontal cases, Dr. Ammons teams up with her established and reputable father, Dr. Daulton Keith – whose office is located next door.
With cosmetic periodontics, Dr. Ammons will extract the tooth and then use dental bridges or implants to help restore your smile.
